I feel like the dark grey used for fabric folds and on the face is too dark, but not because of it's "darkness", per-say, rather because it's on the same gradient as the background. Something like a dark red to swap out might help with the contrast issues, since it's off that black gradient (though the color choice is mostly style, I think any dark non-gray color would look great there).
The rest of the piece is great; I especially love how well you nailed the facial features and heavy eyebrows.
