Thanks for the feedback. :) I was worried that it was hard to see what I was going for but I couldn't come up with some way to make it clearer. Glad you understood the reflection at least.
He let the horse run free, but the desert hasn't turned to sea... so what's the big deal? 
. Good work. It is a little hard to read, but the gist is there if you look hard enough. That water tower is excellent. 
I like the hot sand reflecting the sky! Might need work on readablity?
