Pieces are: K Q B N R P I tried to pick objects that bring to mind the pieces they represent. And I tried, for the most part, to differentiate sides in a way that makes sense without just having a dark side and a light side. The purple pineapple got away from me a bit in that regard. The objects are meant to be: wine glass w/ mini parasol, pineapple, candlestick, crookneck squash, drinking glass, and salt/pepper shakers.
