Very weird piece. I kinda like the sky. I think maybe you should have been more consistent with the dithering though: use it everywere ro nowhere. You could also try using multiple dithering patterns to get a smoother transition between two colours over a large area. Also, the highlighting on the head is strange. Use highlights to bring out the shape of the head. Try to use some higlighting in just about every part of the head.
