Don't you ever say anything bad about paint. Unless it's true... like how paint doesn't let you pick a colour from the image then edit it. : P
Seriously a lot of really good stuff is done in Paint. It lacks a few nice features, but it has everything you need to do amazing pixelart if you've got a little determination.
lol. Truestuff... But you'll also need some patience... Aaaand some creativity. And maybe a great animationprogram though ^.^
