Great work with sticking with it. It has improved a lot!
I'm going to vote yes for submission to the gallery! I look forward seeing what else you make
I have watched those videos and changed scythe but i don't know if it's correct because this guy is like showing some technics and then in other videos mixing them. I saw his other pixel art lessons and he just mix those technics so I've tried to use some of those lesson like avoid doubles and jaggies so I think it's not that bad as i thought at the beginning.About the blade I've changed a little bit his figure.Tell me if it's quite good enough (I know the grip is not that good because the blade I wanted to put at the end of the stick wasm't that good so i left it)
*Much* better! It's much more readable, although it went from being an axe to a sythe? You still have quite a few jaggies, etc., also.
Check out this video (and other videos on the same channel) for lots of tips to improve the look of your pixel art quickly and avoid many beginner mistakes : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gW1G_FLsuEs
Try applying those techniques, do something about the background like making it transparent, and maybe spruce up the handle a bit more (especially think about how the handle connects to the blade) and it should be ready to go into the gallery!
Keep going!
Thanks for a advice and about those green lines i was just hyper of mmo games soo i gave this weapon little dark magic like soul hunting and about a size of this blade i want to send a different version of it so if you can check it I will appreciate it.Oh and this weapon is just to check the size of the blade, not the grip and other stuffs
Hello! Welcome!
If you want to improve the image, you should try increasing the contrast of the greys on the blade as it's fading into the background and doesn't stand out much. Also, you might want to try making the handle thicker and adding more detail or shape.
I'm not sure what the green lines are. Maybe try removing them and focus on making the axe look good on its own, first. If you make it larger, you'll have more pixels to work with and you won't have as much empty space.
Try tweaking some of these things, take your time, and reupload when you are ready or need more advice.
Ty so much ;3
