Thanks for the feedback! I agree. I think if I created a timeline you could see why. Head was done first and I slowly got better and better at understanding my shading. It's a huge weakness of mine that I'm working on. 

I agree with d9nis. The dragon head could use a tad more contrast on the highlights

Too bad you don't shade the dragon face like the rest of the sword, the remainings outline make the dragon looks flat. In the opposite the depths are well rendered in the sword design :)

Very nice! I love the detail in the horns/skull. Really good shading, too.
