I never knew any of the basic concepts such as banding or color ramps when I made it. Luckily it turned out ok, but I'll apply your suggestions after I'm satisfied with another pa I'm curently working on. I'll be looking forward to any cc on that too.
It's still your first upload to the gallery, though! It's very good.
The only criticism I have for it is that I think you could have reduced your colours because as you can see here you have a lot of redundant and very similar tones. You also have some minor banding on his leg. Maybe some AA could have helped, especially on those aqua stripes, too? Not sure about that one, though.
The subtle hand movements are really great. All his movement are really expressive, IMO. 
Thank you very much for the comment! I think I may have worded my post poorly, when I said 'this is one of the first' I meant this is my 3rd one haha. I'm not sure if I should post my older sprites in pj since they're not very pretty.
This is your first pixel art? Wow, good job! Clean lines, not too many colours, interesting concept and great animation. Love the Tron feel.
And I look forward to seeing what you're going to produce! And please return the C&C when I post something next, too!
