Just felt like joining and posting something for the challenge.

Updated with the less organic torso, Now with dithering on the plates.

EDIT: Fixed some of the plates, as they didn't have bolts.

I think so! Looks much more mechanical. Good idea with the extra colours, looks much more interesting.

The torso looks very organic and un-robotic. Maybe add a few faint lines to make it look like it's made out of plates bolted together?
