Hey, I didn't draw a girl for once! Though I didn't really try to make this kid look too masculine, so he's kind androgynous. I kinda kept his pose a little static, so I could focus on animating his bouncy clothes later. I took a bit of extra time on this one, turns out designing interesting designs for a young boy is not normally within my ability.

This OC brings an end to the 1st half of this second group of characters I've made. My later coming work is gonna be a mix of the style I currently use as well as other styles I try out. Hopefylly that should break things up content-wise a little bit. Don't forget to let me know what you think!

Glad you like this design! The claws I might leave, I kinda like how they came out. The lower "bib" does need work so I'll fix that. The way the foot looks is solely to imply fake depth, though I'll probably fix the stripe on his other foot, looking at it now makes it seem strange compared to the right foot. I like your idea of thicker transition shadow on the poofier clothing so that's something I might try out. Thanks as always for the comments!

I like this design!

Some nitpicks:
The claws look a bit flatly shaded compared to the rest, especially on his left (viewer's right) arm.
The design on his "bib" looks non-symmetrical.
His left (our right) foot seems to be lifted up a bit rather than plented on the ground. If it's on the ground, there should be less distance between the sole and the orange stripe, and the orange stripe should probably angle downwards more steeply towards the edges.

Lastly, I feel like I might've mentioned this before so please forgive me if I have: I don't know whether it's going against the KoF look or not, but I feel like you could get better use out of those thin transition shadows by making them just a little bit (1-2px) thicker in the poofer, rounded parts of the clothing. I think  that would add to the sense of roundness and reduce some of the almost-banding they create.
