It wasn't included because you already have too many non-green ribbons as it is ;D
Seconding the love for the line weight here. Not enough pixel game art makes use of line weight and it's such a missed opportunity.
As for the solution: I'm guessing the preview is the solution and you need to interact with the crystals in order of them becoming brighter (Top-Left, Bottom-Right, TR, BL), and/or the opposite order, becoming darker.
Ooor the green lines between them are the hint, since one's connected to the chest and one is connected to the key, and you need to clear off the sand to see how they connect.
To be honest, I got into vidyas too late and missed that era of obtuse puzzles :'D By my time, puzzles were actually fun and about understanding rather than stumbling about.
"hint:"
That sounds EXACTLY like those stinking manuals would say!
I still loved these types of games nonetheless! And you did an amazing job here!
My only guess would be the order you touch the crystals?
Oh this looks tasty.
The different way you shaded the same stones is quite amazing. I like it a lot.
Weird - that sucks a lot nonetheless though
Sorry to hear this :/
Fleja as far as I know this was uploaded well within the time limit, about 10pm Pacific. For context I have previously uploaded with less than 10 minutes to spare, and still been included. I don't actually understand why it was not included.
I like your dithering! It fits really well when compared to the large blocks of colour, and the lineweight helps to differentiate it.
