Yeah, I noticed you are a contest guy!!! Competitions are not for me,´cos I know there are many better PA artists than me...
And as you have already written, one week deadline is a really DEADLINE,´cos of a free time!!!
And simply, I like to do my things...
Where are you from?!? I guess that you´re from US, or England,´cos of your English... So, sorry for my English... I´m from Czech Republic...
Write me an email please and I´ll write you back about my game project... I don´t wanna write about it here...
I completely understand! Your #2 point is what I'm facing currently. That sounds like fun! I've taken a break from contests for awhile due to the grueling 1 week submission deadline. It probably seems like a long time to work on something if you're not trying to bring home your family's bacon. So that being said, I'll have to find the time but let's plan on it sometime soon. I love to do line work. Maybe you could think of something you'd like to detail up?
WOW!!! It was a very inspirative opinion!!! Thanx, thanx, many thanx!!! It really means a lot for me.
Of course I have a plan to make a game, but there are a few problems here for me...
1.) I'm a graphic designer, not a programmer(I was the one of them, but Pascal is not very cool now!!! )
2.) Pixel Art is my hobby, not my work, and PA takes a little longer time to me, as you know. So, I gotta make a money in another way, and where is my time for PA?!?
I know, don´t worry, be happy!!!
Write me via email, and we can do something together, if you wanna do,´cos you´re the great Pixel Artist too...
4Erico: Are your ears moving when you go?!? Are you an elephant?!? But thanx for your opinion and idea, and mainly for your colors´ praise...
I've enjoyed looking through your gallery and seeing the improvements of the "elf girl". Are you getting closer to releasing a game or is this still a pending passion project? It's a very neat concept! I understand about wanting to release a game that may never see the light of the world. My very first submission was intended for the very same thing, but has been pushed back in the seemingly eternal queue. Looking through your work has been inspirational though! I may begin working on it again soon... maybe. . If not, either way, thanks for doing this here so others like myself can benefit from seeing your progress! Keep up the great work! I can't wait to see where you take her next.
Mine don´t move, for sure! :D
It is just that I feel that from the neck above, things are stiff.
Ears moving might helps on the overall without having to animate the whole head, but that is just loud thinking.
