I don't think it's the scaling; it's probably the transparent antialiased light that's coming in through the window that has made the colour count jump. This image shows exactly where.

Other than that, it's clear that the rest of the image is a solid piece of pixel art. I look forward to seeing more!

Really? Oh man, something must have gone wrong during the scaling, because it was only 20 (without considering transparency, but that should'be added 5-10 additional colours tops) when I made it. Oh well, gotta be careful next time. But thanks for letting me know :)

Hello! Nice design, and well rendered, but 152 unique colours .... maybe try to bring the colour count down a bit next time, and avoid using transparent layers / brushes.
