I am pretty sure GIMP will, yes. I am not experienced with it though, so I can't give you any specifics. If you just need to make a transparency though, the online tools I mentioned are probably the best option. The LunaPic website, one of the top results for "make gif transparent", does it in like 3 clicks.
That's good know, thanks for the information, will gimp do the job? Im not sure if this laptop will survive gimp booting up.
The edit actually went through, your browser is just showing you a cached version. A hard refresh (Ctrl+F5 in most browsers) or clearing your cache would clear it up.
It's a confusing problem that's actually PJ's fault (for some reason PJ isn't marking the file as "updated, please re-download"), but hopefully it'll help you avoid some needless reuploads in the future.
MS Paint doesn't let you do transparency as far as I know, but there are tools online that let you replace any colour in a gif with transparency. Just google "make gif transparent".
I just found out that MS Poop is not able to make png's transparent, so i made the background grey, however i cant replace the file, when i do it still shows the red background on Pixeljoint, very weird..
That's true, is it possible to do that with MS Paint?
Any chance you could make the background transparent? That red hurts to look at, and doesn't make the greens look any better.
Perfect, thanks!
