I disagree with you thinkin it's too many colors. I think 50 is a fair number for this scene, especially since it's meant for a game that already uses lighting etc. No need to limit yourself! Awesome job regardless.

Amazing pixel art graphics, very nice darksynth soundtrack, gameplay looks punchy and satisfying; it instantly went into my wishlist!
