Detail in small pixel art can be quite challenging! If you're interested in improving your pixel-detail skills, I recommend posting your WIPs (works in progress) on the forum, along with a description of the details you're trying to add, just in case your attempts aren't clear. Getting some fresh eyes and maybe some draw-overs on your art can be very helpful to learn what works and what doesn't.
I was trying to create detail when I created those noises D: but it appears I have done it the wrong way. using 30 colors for a simple bomb IS quite unreasonable. I suppose I need to practice a lot more on readability and efficiency as well :D thank you again for your feedback!
Most of the colours you used here are redundant, very similar in value to each other so they're barely distinct unless one zooms in very closely. When choosing colours, make sure you're zoomed out, as being zoomed in can make very similar colours look different enough, but really you're wasting your time with them.
The... shadows? highlights? on the bomb's edges feel noisy. What's the purple for? What are the lighter pixels meant to be? Pixel art is so tiny that many details turn into noise. It's often best to leave things out if they're too small to read well.
Yeah it definitely can be @3@ Sounds like a plan! I did join Pixel-Joint to improve myself as a Pixel-Artist. Glad to see that there are some quite supportive people around here :D
