This was one of my first concept arts for the rooms in our game. Most of the assets are still in the game except the chest.

I started with a simple background and a theme idea for the room and then filled it on multiple layers.
Afterwards I created tilesheets of specific sizes 32x32, 32x64, etc for different objects: loot, art, platforms and more.
The game designer used tiled to create levels, which our programmer implemented into Unity.

What is Scoundrel?
Scoundrel is a 2D stealth game with rogue-lite elements. Take control of thieves and misfits and rob the ostentatious Lords of their precious wealth! But the Lords have taken precautions... Take to the shadows for the challenge is great, and many a scoundrels will get thrown in the dungeons before the Thieves Guild prevails... or gets brought to ruin.
