Mm, yah, I can do that. I've been pretty busy over the last couple days. I didn't expect to come back and see all this about gradients. I don't recall seeing anything about them in the uploading section, but I guess it's something to note for the future.
this is great to look at but with all the gradients used in this piece I doubt that this will make its way into the Pixel Joint gallery (gradients is seen as a taboo among the Pixel Joint community) but its still a good piece
Hey mentalpop, really cool image here. Unfortunately there are too many gradients used in this image to meet the PJ gallery requirements. Do you have a version that doesn't use any gradient tool?
When you upload new pixel art, at the top of the screen you'll see a list of rules/standards we follow here at Pixel Joint.
Rule #6 says: "Any art you post should be PIXEL ART! Pixel art implies that each pixel is placed by hand (no filters, paintbrushes, gradient fills, etc)."
When in doubt, just think about what's possible in MSpaint, and you'll probably be safe posting it. Hope you get a chance to fix this image, it's a really great looking skyline scene.
