yes, I tried to use lines the way thet helps define shape - and shading effect is interesting enough to explore it more in future
Lines help define the form of the face and they also give a rough look, if that's what you intended.

Great. I think you could leave it a little cleaner, without all those lines of shading. It could reduce some of the dithering in the neck as well. The lighting would look better the same as it did on the image you use as an avatar.
