I recently downloaded MS Paint XP, and something I did on it a lot as a kid was make Pokemon battle sprites, so here’s to you, 11 Year Old Me! I challenged myself to use MS paint for these, and I used photoshop afterwards for the transparency. It was a little more annoying than I thought though as MS Paint couldn't save the images themselves, so i had to paste them into photoshop every time i wanted to save my process lol. But other than that, it felt good to explore that nostalgic feeling :) if only my younger self who felt like she would never improve could see these!! don't give up me! keep going! reblog on tumblr:

These are some really great designs. And the color choices are very interesting.

I would just say they do not remind me of Pokemon, but of Final Fantasy and Kingdom Hearts (especially the second one). This is not a bad thing though ;P
