Composite animated scene, took a while to get everything working together nicely. (very) Loosely based on the painted backgrounds in Yoshi's Island.

I edited it into a parallax scrolling animation and also recorded a timelapse of the process. You can see the two here:

I didn't want to animate the leaves in the foreground because it would be so much work. But they didn't look right not moving at all so this was a kind of compromise.

Wow! you have such a unique style 

the animation is absolutely gorgeous - I really like the colors scheme for this drawing
and the leave son the tree animation - the grass and the foreground leave althgouth dont turn much which I imagine would be hard to animate - they all look so good as well

glamorous work, I rated it the highest I could at this current moment: 7/7
