I recently came across the Android Arts Pixel Art Tutorial, which includes an example of a poorly-done RPG screen mock-up, and then a bunch of examples from different artists on how to improve it. I wanted to try my hand on it, and so I did! And then I got carried away with trying out different kinds of palettes, whoops.
