It ended up more of a series of practice pieces than anything. The floating head chews houses like they're bubblegum. That's probably the width and depth of it. I was mostly interested in getting believable shapes and dithering. I think you're right about the colours. I think the dark shade could've been a lot redder.

Interesting comic.  Maybe needs some contrast between the chosen colors, but I suppose it would lose it's bubblegum flavoring with that.  I'm not sure I get the comic, but if an artist's goal is to get people thinking about the piece, it worked!  I was staring at this for a good couple minutes.
