thank you! honestly, i don't think your comment was harsh or personal or anything. it was quite the oppsoite! and i agree with all the things you said, those are very legit and real points, and i am simply glad there was also something you liked ^_^ and well, adulting is taking quite a lot of my time, but i definitely wanna make more pixel art and improve

While it's hard to promise not to come off as harsh when it comes to critique, I do appreciate the effort that you put into this. I think it has a nice minimalistic effect going on that is working for it to an extent.

However, I do feel as though you could play more with the buildings that are farthest back and add in a darker shade. Because right now it does feel flat. I would have also considdered maybe avoiding outlining the buildings in this case just because it feels banded. I like how you approached the animation however.

This is a good first attempt nonetheless and I like where you went with it. Would like to see how you improve overtime, just remember not to take criticism too personally because you'll just give yourself an ulcer doing that.
