Nice work. You can really see the face turn, instead of just slide across the sun's surface.

It might also be cool if the sun rays rotated with the face, making the entire object 3D. Excellent work!

That's an awesome way to look at things.  Getting better should be how we all approach our art.  

That's true, i didn't think about it. But i guess making faces in the sun is fairly popular. I could do more, but i think it requires low effort, and i'd like to improve my skills by doing something i don't know how.

And you were right! It does look good! I just wondered if you made it for a game or something because it reminded me of the little guy that chases you around in the desert levels of Super Mario Brothers 2.  Hahaa!   I bet you could make  several of these little avatars. I was  thinking a moon Queen or a Mars jester.

Nice job, critiquemywork!  I always dig small details like that face. The simple animation just adds to the whole thing. Did you do this specifically for your avatar, or is it a Sprite for a different project?
