I suppose it's the palette that could use more variety. If you put yours aside another recent piece link, for instance, you can see that in the linked piece, the eye is immediately drawn to the face and to the puppy, not as much through content, as through color and lighting.
Through contrast and colors you can create in yours a focal point (presumably the angel) that the eye is drawn to immediately when looking at the picture.
I really like the forms, but I think you could push the contrast/lighting to get this piece to the next level.

i like using very few colors
im trying to get better at compositing images, using colors to focus your eye would be something i already know , i want to be able to do it despite that limitation
