Yo whats crack-a-lacking guys
Ok so before we get into the heart of this I just want to point out, because of the size of the image part of it might get cut off.
so I suggest viewing it in a new window (or use an external image viewer)
Okay so this was done for a sort of anniversary piece since today is the day that PixelDust is turning 1 (although I have only been doing pixel art with any sort of consistency for about 9 months )
So for this piece, I tried to create a cohesive scene(if you can call it that) out of some of the more memorable piece that I've done this past year. but the creative side of my brain dried up and burnt out just after managing to fit in 3 pieces, well given that it took me just little over a week of constant work to get that far.
but you can blame that on me using all my creative juices on rendering, rather than conceptualizing which in itself is an indication of my infancy when it comes to art
even this piece itself had no preplanning aside from
piece 1 + piece 2 + piece 3 = piece 4
Jerry- "it should be piece 6 Ya Idot. Ya should go and learn some math instead of art, cause ya dumb."
ME- shut up Jerry no one asked you mate "YA" DingalingMouth
The first piece I decided on was the art of Ying and Yang which was the first piece I uploaded on this channel.
the second being Space Clouds.
merging those 2 gave me the main feature of this piece.
and the third one was Grazed by Armageddon which gave us the lovely little planet getting painfully violated.
Okay now for why the piece feels flat as was pointed out by the
lovely people over at the PJ discord server.
and in order to not look like a total ignoramus, I will attempt to justify it
Okay since the main part of this piece was modeled after the YingYang symbol right, and the YingYang symbol is inherently 2D.
Except this YingYang is just a bundle of Star Farts spun by gravity to look sorta like it?.
and since it is a formation as the result of the gastral excretion from a Ball which in itself is made of Gas, ignited by last nights Indian food
the light is coming from within itself and there is no solid material so there won't be any "cast shadows" (excluding the planet) I think. Ye?
- END of part 1 of 2
it's hard to believe it's been a year already
it seems like I started Pixel art just last year (wait did I do that wrong, Hey Cortana, Remember me to check that later mkay?)
But hey it was a fun ride, PJ pretty much dictated the greater part of my life the last year. most people will call it an addiction
Me well I call it Uhhm.... an addiction to, actually, since that's pretty much what it is
I think I should stop here since this is getting quite long
but a big description is befitting a big piece
WIP can be found HERE
I would like mention how long it took me but since I can't do math
I'm not sure about the validity of number
I ended up with negative 19 hours which does not seem right
and don't say anything about my math skills or I might get offended (or any Grammar Issues which might arise)

Glad to see how you improoved! Nice job!
