@Dawnbringer: thanks a lot, ha ha, one more person and I will be forced to do that :D (optimise)
Rendering could be a bit better, but I spent already too much time on it
thanks again
@StarQueen: :)
@digger: thanks
You found the perfect 12-bit colorscheme here...but it bugs me to no end that you didn't keep with the 32 color restriction as well. Killer rendering though!
@Fleja2003: thanks! :)
@IvoryFalcon: thank you! - more coming soon
@Mandrill: Thank you very much, It means a lot for me, really :)
@Blackmambuh: thanks!
@MrHai: Yes, in fact makes him older, I'm working on corrected version, but as change is irrelevant for gfx as pixelart I just wanted to show it as it is :) And thanks!
@ParkerBaby: Not really, as this time its not my model or some anonymous / imagined person. But I will most likely post more, at least one for that moment.
Can you post the reference picture to compare?
I cannot get over how great this looks!
Absolutely stunning.
I think the contrast in the eyes (highlight) is a little too harsh. Otherwise its fantastic!
@Theoden: Ok, got it :) I was not trying to copy photo in literal way. There is a lot going on with colors and graphic side of picture I hope.
Thanks!
@jackhummer: :) could be easily less - but I'm ok with 35
@Frost: thx! - As its not amiga or demoscene release in general, I don't see point in strictly folowing platform restrictions.
From the other hand ... I have habit to learn something every time and take challange with limitations - thats why OCS palette :) Picture can be easly optimised to 32c - just there is no reason for doing that.
Don't worry - amiga stuff in pipeline ;)
When you get the "looks like a photo" comment on a pixel art, you sure are doing it right :)
Excellent rendering.
@Pixelart_kid: thanks :)
@Zephyrrite: - but its not ;) I paint with oil colors too - so I like this kind of realistic style with broken ramps and color richness
@Wrex: thank you!
@DexRunner: Thanks!
Photo as reference - quite good but no professional.
I hope too :) And I will try :)
@AirStyle: Thanks a lot!
No photos in the gallery please.
Amazing work! What kind of reference were you using for it? I think my favorite part is the beard. I hope you do some more of these! Keep up the amazing pixels!
i am not sure but i think you have used a picture pixelator
