Black filled his vision and stayed there, even when he blinked to glance my way. There was something unnerving about looking into those dark pits- the whites of his eyes becoming totally eclipsed by shadow. His skin looked like a cloud of ink that had been dropped in a pool of milk. The tips of his fingers became black and the tendrils of darkness snaked up his skin and around his neck.
