Great work on the barrels, and the lighting around the torch as well. You've done a really good job of the textures at such a small scale. :)
Excellent, I would not say you're still a beginner. The only things I suggest to work out are: in the lower right corner of the terrain tile the shading formed a right angle that is very prominent. And maybe, just maybe, the image gets better with a little more contrast. Besides these two points: great.
