The most convincing water effect achieved in pixel art I've ever seen, bravo!
haha thanks! But I doubt there will be that many in the monthly top. Maybe one ;)
aamatniekss - Thanks a lot! Congratulations in advance for about 4 - 5 monthly top drawings maybe more! c:
DexRunner - Thanks! I learned from Youtube - that a good preivew or thumbnail can save a bad drawing. Im kidding haha - but yeah I try to put as much effort into my preview or at least afair amount in comparioson to the drawing I want people to be interested in.
It's 24 frames - each frama the wave move down 1 pixel. 12 frames center for any part, and 6 frames left and 6 frames rights for each part. and believe me - that was tedious to execute but the effect was worth it haha.
thank you!!
This is really good, Fleja! Your previews are always amazing, too. They're like their own little pixel submission. It's like you're always giving us a two-for-one deal!
I didn't see it before you added the ripples, but I'm sure it looks that much more alive now. I was trying to figure out how you did it so I zoomed in and finally think I figured it out. It's kind of similar to my VHS Style pixel submission except it's less random in the horizontal lines you used. I just wanted to let you know how cool it is to have work like yours to examine to help us get better. Thanks and keep up the great work!
This is amazing, really inspires me to try the same technique if i understood it correctly. Pretty simple and very effective.
This is so beautiful! Love how you animated the preview too.
Beautiful...
Thanks to this, everything looks wavy now. lol
Thanks OareasO - you probably dont want to know - it's a lot haha
