the similarity between the guards if the result of two factors. One, I was trying to keep them within the same palette/style, so the player would alwaus read them as enemies.
Second: I rushed to complete this :D
I was more concerned with the scene.
I made the templar huge as a indication of him being like a miniboss or something like that. maybe I over did it.
Thank you for the kind words!
Seconding that this looks like it'd be fun to play.
This is probably an odd thing to point out, but I love the solid-coloured background buildings, they really help create a sense of depth. With some parallax the city would feel so big <3
The Templar looks much larger than the other characters, including Altair. They were big in the original game, but I don't recall them towering over everyone else like that.
Love the different facial hair on all three of the guards. Wish these differences were accompanied by more differences in their stances and clothing folds too, as overall they give the impression of being copy+pasted despite being unique. The archer even has different clothes but still doesn't feel different.
I noticed who the other guy from right corner have his beard from the other side where he looking.
wow awesome, it look like the times of persians or egypt!
