hm, hm, yes I see. I remember them looking good in isolation, but you're totally right.
And thank you! Pink+blue+white is my new favorite combo for pale skin. 
The grass and the turtle's neck and legs have a lot of noisy sections that could use some cleaning up. Other than that, looks lovely! Interesting use of blue dithering on the faces :D
The style you use, despite not exactly being PC98 style, feels somehow related, or like it captures the same spirit? Which makes it appropriate for these designs.
