An image done to try and achieve a realistic color palette. It was done as an exercise, so only architectural reference was used. Palette was build as I created the image.

Its 32 colors after some testing with automated color reduction processes, to settle on what colors to change and keep.

that is so damn cool, the foreground objects blurred out like that

Very unique idea! I think it's executed pretty well.

The composition is a little wierd, but in a good way. I like it!

nicely done but the composition is weird (like this tree falling to the left)

I don't believe is worth it to add a street sign and hydrant too

the depth of field is a nice effect but in photography and film

it does not convert directly into illustration

fox also need some improvements, and maybe palette

Well done on the cheap phone feel, I like the blurryness of the close objects

I know what you mean, and I did want to do it. but my goal was to make it like a dull cellphone picture. that's why the palette is less rich, like you would see in an art piece.
Still, your example isn't really in anyway harmfull for the image. It actually works fairly well

All the greys feel rather dull and disconnected from the surrounding environment. Making the lightest greys warm (because of the warm sunlight) and the mid-greys cool (since those are used for surfaces facing the blue sky) would help the greys feel more like part of the world. Something like this. For more realism, the warms could perhaps be less saturated than here, but really, realism doesn't have to be dull, since light bounces and carries hue with it.

Good job with the blurred pagoda in the foreground, that's not easy to do with so few colours!
