Ah, thank you for the critique! I appreciate it!

I can see why the sky would need more work, as it doesn't blend with everything else very well. And I think I can see how the dunes might have a weird perspecitve. Thank you for pointing that out!

Nice work on the cars -- it's an interesting set-up for a scene!

My main feedback is that the sky feels very static compared to the rest of the piece, and the dithered stripes look very stiff. There are lots of great examples of pixel skies here on PixelJoint -- I'd recommend checking some out as references!

Another thing that stands out is that the perspective on the sand dunes feels a little off compared to the perspective of the road. Other than that, I like the way that you shaded them!

Good luck! Hope to see you posting more :)

Ouch. But I think you have a point. I had this feeling that some things just didn't blend that well, likely because of outlining. I'll look into it the next time I try doing something like this again, thank you.

Most of the works highlighted here seem primarily intended to distract from depressingly drab architecture or "brighten up" poorly thought out public spaces.   The styles are alternatingly random, abstract, and cartoonish, seemingly plumbing new depths of absurdity to make up for the complete absence of attention to function or tie into a theme for the surrounding space.
