This piece is ultimately unfinished so sorry if some parts still look very rough but I've spent too long working on it so I'll just post it here for now. Maybe I'll iterate on it in the future but for now I think I'll leave it alone for a while :)

I learnt a lot whilst making this and I pushed myself further than I ever thought I'd be able to so I'm pretty happy with it, even though some parts are still very rough and unfinished.

This is one of the biggest / most complex artworks I've made to date and so it took me working on it at evenings here and there for about 2 weeks to get it to this stage.

I did a final pass over the image before posting it here and adjusted all of the colours in the shadows (especially on the grass) and made them darker and it looked so much better than previously! Glad I took the time to adjust the values...

it looked a bit overly 'HDR' before if you know what I mean.
