A portrait of somebody who doesn't exist meant to radiate some autumny warmth.
Edit: Fixed the AA around the hair.
Wow cool avatar!!!
Grim and comfy are pretty close to each other in my heart. :>
I didn't really plan for it to be especially warm, it felt that way to me afterwards, hence the word choice. But thank you for the feedback nonetheless, I will keep your suggestions in mind for the future!
Awesome pixeling and cool color choice. I would say it seems more like a grim autumn than a happier warmer look based on the colors though. I think increasing the saturation on the skin tones and oranges might help. Or maybe adding some yellows leaning toward green. Regardless, great work and great colors.
Great palette choice !
I know what you mean, the edges are rather harsh. I tried to keep AA to a minimum in general with this since I often overdo it a bit. Makes sense I might have underdone it instead.
Thanks for your kind words to everyone!
Love the colours you used.
The edges of the hair (where it meets the background) seem under-AAed compared to the rest. Don't be afraid to use more than one pixel of a colour for AA, long AA segments are very useful for angles that are just slightly off vertical/horizontal.
Other than that though, this looks good! Great use of desaturated colours on the face, and I particularly like how you managed to capture the translucency of the eye-whites.
Beautiful work, There's a lot to like about this one.
