Hi Omega, thanks for adding me to your buddies!
I have no doubt you could draw the shape of the lines by hand but the antialiasing on them was perfect. If you could achieve that exact same effect by hand placing each pixel you would be a pixel art genius.
There is a super skilled pixel art veteran on this site called Cure who put together a great tutorial / guide. I found it extremlely helpful when I first found it and years later I still haven't mastered all the techniques described. It explains antialiasing and many other interesting and useful things.
Here's the link; check it out! :)

Hi there, thanks for your comment. U know I am a newbie in pixel-art and I need to learn a lot! :-)
And yes, the thick white lines on his neck were not dwawn by hand 100%, though I used hands on thm as well!
(I created them using elipse tool in grafx2) Is it considered violation of rules 3,4 and 5? part of rule 5 says : "unless these effects could reasonably have been achieved by hand"
Hello! Cool picture but 110 colours is too many. AA of the three thick white lines on his neck was not hand drawn. Please check rules 3, 4, and 5.
Thanks for the link, and I feel happy to have u as my buddy :-)
I will check Cure's tutorials, I hope I will understand them!
