The overall image is great, but looks like he has a dog's face. In my opinion would be cooler if his face was totally on shadow, no highlights.
You had metal colors on your pallete already, a more realistic sword would keep the design more cohesive i think, but that's personal preference.

Ive been working on it for a while I used a lot of diffrent pieces and made this one I wanted like a conan the barbarian feel so looked at a lot of Franks works and others. The face does need a bit more refinement thanks for the feedback. I did not rush the job out but ill add some more skulls and see what I can do with the face
Did you use reference on this? Looks Frank Frezetta inspired almost.
The mirrored face and dithering is quite off compared to the form as a whole
I totally agree with the face but I need to move on to another piece and refine refine refine it takes forever to get the pixels in place, Its such a nice art form I just enjoy it a lot and this community is really good with feedback. I like it. With the sword I wanted it to be like golden a piece that is one of a kind made to the warrior. It was metal in colour but I mixed it up cause I wanted something a bit diffrent. I just keep looking at the face and want to update it ill come back to it maybe
