Funny thing is, I always felt something was a little of about it, but I spend so much time on it allready I just wanted to move on and I just left it the way it was :P Thanks for the feedback, I appreciate it :)

I agree with pbdc. But I think if you didn't want to do that, making the bike and girl the same darkness would also help. A silhouette for one solid structure would be the same darkness as another next to it. (Unless it has some see through properties). Awesome piece regardless! Favorited
The animation is great, but I feel that the effect would be better if the colors were swapped--ie the girl gets darker when in sunlight and lighter when behind the mountain (or at least stays dark throughout; there's no reason the side facing away from the sun would brighten when she's in sunlight). Backlit objects appear darker.
For some reason this made me think of Kermit the frog. Very beautiful though...
The moving shadow on the girl is surprising and pretty! :)
