Its pretty good for a first entry though if youre down to take some criticism your gold and its accenting is a bit much, plus the awkward placements or holding of the sheild and whip make the piece seem odd.

With gold or anything with a high reflectivity its best to decide where youre light is coming from and paint your specular or highlights facing that, use of a green based gold rather than an orange/red based gold also gives a more realistic look to it but theres nothing wrong with using an orange/red base. As far as weapons and sheilds try and imagine how you would hold one or look up references on how theyre held to get an idea so they dont look so awkward. This will still most likely get into the gallery, ill definitely still vote yes for it but please consider taking some of my recommendations and experimenting. There's also a wonderful forum where you can get early judging or help on a design. Other than that, the body is done very well, amazing job!
