This is another BG for my fighting game collab. This too uses parallax effects and the club lights will be done using code by the programmer. All the members are honored in the graffiti. To view parallex effect go here and click game art in the menu.

The red/orange bg and the blue foreground add a lot to the psychadelic feel of the level. You'll have to show us all the finished game sometime.

Like the shading and mood. I'd have to agree with Saboteur's comments, though. The problem with explaining away the blue with a blue strobe light, is that the blue on the speakers is always there. I think the detachment between the foreground and background might be too much. They're on different perspectives, have different colour schemes...they almost don't look like the same place.

Sab your comments are always welcome because you always make valid points. This image is a bit harder to comprehend because all the lights are created in code. This is why the scene looks incomplete. Those lights are mostly reds with some blue strobes. Since I did not pixel them I did not show them.

I'm gonna be honest, 'cause that's what I like to do. I don't like it. Compared to the other two, it's boring and incomplete. The speakers don't look like speakers and are sitting in the middle of the floor. There are no wallhanging speakers in the background, no blue light in it to explain the blue tints everywhere, and no actual red lights to explain all the red.
The grafitti, however, is awesome. But whadda ya mean by "All the members are honored in the graffiti?"
Sorry if this comes as a shock. Just thought I'd put my word out there.
