I use a custom limited palette set for my personal game and im trying to work on the sprites palette. Infact that personal project is what started my trying to get better at pixel art so its all an experiment and any good CC is super helpful!
Im also excited, Im bumed out that I missed Limited Run's collectors edition of Pirates Curse so im hoping when they do the collectors edition for Shantae 5 theyll use XSEED again. The collectors sets are always reasonably priced and come with a lot of neat goodies!
Nice work! I really like the shapes and clusters you have there. And the overall anatomy is pretty good. I believe you could improve your work even more if you did some hue changes in the colors. Right now I feel like all the color ramps you have (purple in the hair, red in the pants, skin color in the body and yellow in the accessories) look a bit flat because of the constant hues.
Btw, I am also excited for Shantae 5 ;)
