Living in Miami has its benefits, isn't Jal?

I will post it on Sprites INC! Thanks.

Hey, cool animation, thanks for that.

user
Skull Master (Level 1 Rookie) @ 1/2/2008 17:37
That's true, but it's still an edit.

Tets, if you want some (more) glorry for this edit, I HIGHLY suggest posting it in the Sprites INC forums. (http://www.sprites-inc.co.uk/forum/index.php)

Well I think that the edit was more of what people do with dolls. The original one looks more like a base to me rather. A lot of it was changed, some areas were kept the same but only within the linework so that the coloring and design was completely different.

I activated it, but then saw your previous post with the reference, and then sent it back.  I don't know who re-activated it.

Or re-re-activated it.  What a mess.

Aight cool that all makes sense, thanks BOB. good luck to you guys in your discussions.

Again, I'm quite aware of the fact of it's EXACT resemblance. I sent it back for revision. But it wasn't me who activated it. We ARE looking into this, to put it in it's correct place...(please keep comments to a minimum on this piece specifically, as I don't think some of us want a another flame war to erupt...)

Thanks again...

So many identical pixels. Surely it's a very nice edit, and actually shows a good deal of skill, but it's still an edit.

The B.O.B. (Level 11 Master Assassin) @ 1/1/2008 14:22
This WAS submitted back in 06'. However, it was reported by another member as an edit(which it basically, and very well could be). I sent it back for revision. However, during the time of revision, another mod(who shall be nameless) I guess accidentally resubmitted it/activated it, causing the system to believe it was a recent entry. I'm guessing with all the gathered ratings it had in the past, activating doesn't seem to lose these ratings, shooting it up to the stars, apparently in the weekly showcase. I'm still skeptical about it, but it's being discussed. Some of the square heads are currently thinking about tightening up what should be submitted here at this website...

Thanks for the interest...

I agree with Hatch, I've looked at this piece a million times before and now it's like it's been renewed and thrown into the weekly showcase? and then proven an edit? Could someone explain (in English?)

*threw Jalonso's text into a translator and i'm even more confused.

Tets (Level 6 SWAT) @ 1/1/2008 13:54
Hey, weekly showcase!!! Cool!

user
Hatch (Level 3 Hatchikyu) @ 1/1/2008 10:40
Why hasn't this been removed?

EDIT: Actually, what's going on with this piece? It says it was submitted back in 2006, and indeed, there are comments from back then, but it's on the weekly showcase...?

user
The B.O.B. (Level 11 Master Assassin) @ 1/1/2008 00:42
Gracias, Jalonso, por la explicación.

And Tets, I didn't mean to offend, just to make sure that references are used whenever chances are given, as they will definitely ease any other user attacks towards your piece's integrity. It's pretty much a proven fact, given the many times it's already happened in the past. Good luck, and hope to see more original art from you.

P.s. Jalonso, if you use an online translator, the line "happy new year" is machine translated as Happy new anus...yay for new anuses!!! Ha hah hahh...

user
Tets (Level 6 SWAT) @ 12/31/2007 12:11

Thank you for explaining man, i obviously didn't undersand. Thanks and sorry B.O.B.

*w00t \o/, I did a whole paragraph in spanish, my teacher would be so proud... maybe

user
Tets (Level 6 SWAT) @ 12/29/2007 17:36

Please state references...UPDATED LINK...

Edits are fine for practice and other websites, just NOT THIS ONE. We here at PJ would rather the artist and members grow using natural techniques, rather than become another anime clone artist, with no imagination or idea of his own. So again, only send in work that is completely yours, and if there is some inspiration(or close resemblance), than it'd be wise to link the reference photo in the description, to save you the hassle...(sending back for revision)

Strike numero uno...
