My submission for the Pixel Art Challenge: At War
Faction: Omega Legion
"Right, so I'm not exactly sure how to title this report, so I'll just get to the details. After noticing that we were generating more FUNDS than our production could support to clone more soldiers, our chief engineer, Erick Engineer, figured we coud double our infantry output by feeding back in the corpses of dead infantry harvested from the field via drone in order to skip a major chunk of the clone growth phase. To our suprise, it actually worked - kind of. The resulting mass could walk, could somehow carry a gun, and could shoot with an accuracy only slightly lower than our standard model (It could potentially hit the windmill by the barn instead of always slightly missing the windmill by the barn) but its appearance, well let's just say HR needs to switch out a couple staff members who exhibited pyschotic symptoms after viewing the face of these 'Recycled Conscripts'. For now we've settled with stuffing the gremlins into the leftover garbage bags from the terribly unsuccessful eco-concript project, but I would recommend a more reliable solution before things get too untenable. I was never fully on board with the mental screenings of creatures produced via our processes, but these things - they're a security hazard fast in the making. |
