Experimenting with how to render trees. The 2px must be the C64 influence I've had from working on Nogalious recently.

Thanks! I agree. In cases like these, pixel cluster patterns are kept separate so that they're seen as different materials - Vierbit did this really well with a series of trees he made recently.

The 2px looks good! Wish I would see more of that nowadays. Interesting choice not to incorporate it in the bark and grass as well, it looks much more natural this way
