Keep it up :)@vidd - well the thing that was inspired by eyecraft was the purple lighting of course, however, the spaceship design body was also heavily inspired because i had no knowledge of what they should look like. Im sorry if this looks a bit derivitive but I was learning how to do shmup ships. After I studied eyecraft's i was able to do enemy ships with a unique body structure. However I do think my design is different enough from eyecraft's in terms of details and i did draw my own lineart of course. But hey you learn by doing.

@wannahla(etc.) - Ha! i never saw that until now, thats pretty funneh. no the 'mouth' is the cockpit and the 'eyes' are just some random details.
Are the purple ships supposed to look like the heads of dragons?
Looks like cereal....which is good! Cool job, I like the hue shifts. But, where are the stars?
... I can almost feel the parallax scrolling due to the darker getting asteroids further down. I'd love to play that game
