I wish i could do more polish, but we were pretty tough at deadlines and considering amount of frames in a whole sheet (around 700 frames) i'm afraid that it'd took an ages! :D So it's true, it's kinda works at least and I'm happy with it! :) Make sure to follow dev's on twitter if you're interested, it's kinda simmilar setting as DS series!
@tecnologgamer Nope! The whole sheet was made in a big canvas to keep things in a single aseprite file! Thanks for kind of words!
In comparison to other animations of same sprite of this character you use different canvas? I'm asking this because the character seems fit in a small res, but you need to enlarve for attack animation?
In an artist's perspective, the details can use more refining and polish, but in a game developer's perspective, the animation is pretty solid and pulled off quite efficiently. I'd say it works! I'm just going to shamefully compare your art piece to Dark Souls - my favorite series.
