Made for a contest. Took a while, I'm still not satisfied with the goldish metal, or the blade, but contests have their deadlines. So, this is the finished product, although I might update it a bit just for fun.

Try to correct the yellow palette. Begin with a light yellow, create a normal yellow, and make the shadows near the orange. Oh, and the black BG made a bad effect on the blade. =/
I see nothing wrong with it, It looks cartoon type or something of like warcraft 2 lol, but I guess I'm into all the old games and not as such like to dislike picture because of bad graphics.
@ Ensellitis: I submitted this before I got feedback on the "final" version. If and when I add the decoration, etc. I will resubmit. But yeah, you're right; I should have waited.
