thanks jalonso. I didn't bother to do a background for the dragon because it was basically an exercise to demonstrate skill. Going the extra mile wouldn't have helped me seeing how i made expert :F I don't know what a 'santa pom-pom is, but the big white spot is a highlight from the lightsource(probably a lightbulb which would be rather prominent on glass or ornament material, wouldn't it?) As for the lineart, the details on the clothing weren't necessary to show in line form but I wanted to illustrate that he has a schnazzy outfit on =P The colour coding is just to make life easier for bab, is it necessary? probably not. Fantastic version of BABs dragon. A more vraetive background would have made this so much better. The ornament is well made. The snata pom-pom looks like a highlight on the glass ormnament so its a confusing detail to have included in such a prominent way. The lineart while great looking and well made, fails as lineart with the blue bits. If the lineart needs color coding to delianate it then the lineart in not clear. This appears to be the case here, too bad :(
